It’s been two years since Russia invaded Ukraine, displacing millions of people and killing hundreds of thousands with no end in sight.
More than two dozen Ukrainian families have since settled in North Bay and they are marking the 2nd anniversary of the war with songs and calls for continued support to repel the Russians from their homeland.
Recently joined with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the Ukrainian Community of North Bay gathered to sing and talk about the impact of the war at the Northgate Shopping Centre at noon Saturday.
