North Bay’s On the Edge Fringe organized theatre workshops and an art market at the Northgate Shopping Centre, Saturday. Improve for beginners by Gateway Theatre Guild, vocal coaching, Conspiracy of 3 poetry reading and open mic presentations were scheduled through the day.
Kelsey Ruhl, artistic director for the Fringe Festival held every August, said the strong response and popularity of the workshop and market may lead to more of the same. She said Northgate provided the space in stores near the food court that are currently not in use.
