The West Ferris Trojans rallied to beat the Algonquin Barons 12-8 to win their NDA junior football semifinal on the Mike O’Shea field at the Steve Omischl Sports Fields Complex, Thursday. Solid team defence with big interceptions shut down the Algonquin offence which build up an 8-0 lead in the second quarter. The victory earn West Ferris a berth in the NDA final against the league-leading Scollard Bears next Thursday, Nov. 9, on the Father Cundari Field beginning at 3:30 p.m.
